Kariya Park, is a Japenese Garden, located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the heart of Mississauga near Square One. In fact I live just around the corner from the park. From the garden you can see the condo where I live. Unfortunately I am in the North Tower and so I can not see the park from where I am. However, the people living in the South Tower with a Western view can look at the park.

 

Accordining to the Mississauga website, "the park was opened in 1992 in honour of Misssissauga's twin city relationship with the City of Kariya, Japan." For more information:

 

 

Currently the Cherry blossoms are not in full bloom as yet. I will however visit again in May and take some more pictures. In the meantime if you ever get to visit this part of the world, please take sometime and visit the gardens. It's a place to just relax, read, meditate or just simply enjoy nature.

 

The first few pictures of the sunset was not taken in Kariya Park but from my condo on April 21.
